Fownes Performance Group in Bellingham WA is seeking a full time technical developer to join our team to help drive glove and accessory development for mutliple brands in the outdoor industry. Our ideal candidate is a self starter who is organized, detail oriented and deadline driven with a passion for product and the outdoors

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Manage technical details of product development from initial samples through bulk production

Evaluate proto samples against design specification sheets and maintain measurement verification charts

Source and organize fabric and trims

Support the team by managing the process flow of communications between cross functioning departments to ensure key developmental calendar gates are met

Help to maintain and update tech packs, BOMS and PLM system

3+ years of relevant or equivalent experience

Experience in the outdoor industry or apparel category preferred

College degree or equivalent experience in merchandising, textiles, manufacturing or related fields

Knowledge of technical materials

Knowledge of garment or accessory construction and manufacturing

Solid communication skills, both verbal and written with attention to detail

self motivated, good work ethic, proactive and deadline driven

ability to work fluently in Adobe Creative Suite and Office 365
