Osprey is looking for a Sr. Demand Planning Analyst to join our team in Cortez, Colorado! If you love adventure, great gear, and have a passion for the outdoors, you're in good company at Osprey.
The Sr. Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for crafting, maintaining, and communicating the product-driven financial plans for Osprey. Developing strong partnerships with Supply, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance and working collaboratively are paramount to personal and company success in this role. Primary focus will be to oversee all aspects of International demand planning. The Sr. Demand Planning Analyst will participate in the development and implementation of Demand Planning policies and procedures as requested.
Education and Experience:
Required Education: BA/BS college degree
Required Experience: 5 years of demand planning of consumer packaged products in a distribution and/or retail environment
Required Experience: 3 years of MRP/ERP system experience
Personal and/or professional knowledge and understanding of the outdoor industry and consumer
Direct knowledge of Travel and Lifestyle consumer product sales channels and markets
Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and create actionable plans in response
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
Experience with MS365 including Power BI
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
