2 Year Degree
Daily recording of cash receipts and disbursements.
Preparation and review of payroll, taxes, quarterly and annual reports.
Sales tax reporting and filing of returns.
Accounts payable and discount realization.
Bank reconciliations; monthly journal entries and production of financial statements.
Manage merchant services, credit processing, and PCI compliance.
POS and Inventory
Track and maintain full-cycle purchase order process.
Program POS system for inventory, pricing, discounts, metadata, customer database, special orders, awards program, and related. Inventory control and annual physical count.
Record Cost of Goods sold and journal into accounting software.
Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping; design and implement filing systems; ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data
Organize office operations and procedures; responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office; implement changes to improve office operational efficiency
General knowledge of PC and Apple hardware and software systems
Effective communication and time management skills – multi-tasking is essential in this role
Dedication to customer service: meets deliverables – both internal and external
Exhibits core values of integrity, accountability, leadership and professionalism
Knowledge of POS & inventory management software and credit card processing
MS Office and Apple Applications
Minimum Associates degree in accounting and three years related bookkeeping experience (Additional experience may be substituted for a degree) Proficient in QuickBooks
