The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics seeks a dynamic, high-energy Traveling Teams Manager to join our passionate and committed staff.
The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics is a national, nonprofit organization that protects the outdoors by teaching people to enjoy it responsibly. We seek a full-time Traveling Teams Manager who will focus on leveraging the most strategic, mission-critical work from the Leave No Trace Center’s award winning Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainer program. Center Staff take a great deal of responsibility for their individual roles, thrive in a team oriented atmosphere, and always make time for their favorite outdoor pursuits.
This positive and visionary extrovert will possess exceptionally strong organizational and personnel management skills. He or she will have a track record of building strategic programs and events, managing complex logistics without a hitch, and solving problems on the fly with the ability to manage complex personalities to get the best out of them.
Specific areas of focus include:
Event programming and scheduling
Logistics, gear and travel coordination
Strategic program development
Management of all aspect of 8+ traveling staff and other key stakeholders
Coordinating with all staff to ensure the strongest programs

Demonstrated experience with personnel management and logistics
Event planning and execution
Bachelor’s degree, at a minimum
Strong written and verbal communication
3-5 years minimum experience in a relevant field
Ability to execute both strategic, management and tactical goals
Passion and knowledge for the outdoors and Leave No Trace mission
Ability to maintain a high level of poise, energy, a positive disposition and professionalism in all circumstances
