What You'll Be Doing:
Managing Sales Teams - You will be directly responsible for sales and account management in all territories in North America. This includes managing the in-house sales team and 3rd party sales reps. This includes, but is not limited to, hiring and interviewing new reps, monitoring and reporting performance metrics, communicating sales and marketing strategies - you will be the point person for questions and all communications. You are expected to run monthly commission reports and payments to reps.
Key Account Management - You will be responsible for managing large, key accounts as your own. Frequent communications, meetings and sales will be expected. You are expected to regularly seek and open accounts.
Sales Planning and Strategy - High level sales strategy and annual planning is required, you will personally be executing these plans.
Annual Budgeting - Implement annual budgets in place to successfully accomplish sales goals and strategies.
Inventory Planning - You will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting Cirque inventory and purchases.
Product Development - You will assist with high level planning for product development, new styles, and new markets. You will also be responsible for running performance reports and analyses for all products sold to help build the assortment for future catalogs.
Marketing - You will manage the marketing team that assists and markets for the company. High level direction, planning and marketing strategy will be expected.
What's Required for Consideration:
5-10+ years of wholesale sales experience with consumer products
Live in or relocate to Vail, CO
Management level experience
Expert level knowledge and experience with retail business model, sales cycle, and buying trade shows
Team player, entrepreneurial style job seeker, get things done attitude and hard worker
Strongly prefer candidates with outdoor industry experience
Prefer candidates with strong excel skills
Prefer candidates with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign experience
