The Bike Cooperative has an excellent opportunity for a Member Recruitment Specialist. This position offers the option to work remotely from a home office or from our Manchester, NH office.
This position is responsible for recruiting new member locations to The Bike Cooperative by selling memberships to independent retailers. Additional areas of responsibility include:
Analyzing territories and identifying opportunities for new members;
Researching and qualifying prospective member retailers;
Conducting ROI analysis for the retailer;
Making on-site visits to prospective member locations for in-person presentations;
Influencing retailer to enroll in membership;
Meeting regularly with management to review current lead status and new prospect opportunities.
This position requires: a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred); 3-5 years’ sales experience, preferably in the cycling and/or outdoor sports industries; excellent presentation, communications, spelling, grammar and personal computer skills (Microsoft Office); ability to work 40 hours per week with minimal supervision.
Preferred areas of experience: knowledge of CRM tools to track leads; relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors in cycling industry; working or participating in the bicycle, outdoor, winter sports, or fitness industries.
